The fifth EMP User Meeting will be held as an in-person event at 蜜桃传煤mv between the 12th and 16th June, 2023 . The aims of the user meeting are to bring together current and potential users of experimental facilities provided by the EMP consortium. The meeting will include sessions focussed on joint research activities of the consortium, industrial innovation and technological advances. It is a forum to share recent achievements, obtained results and challenges encountered with implementation of consortium activities. It will encourage academic, technical and industrial partners to share developed techniques and technologies and their transfer from the lab bench to commercial products.

Lancaster is just over two hours from London and Edinburgh on the West Coast Line, and is just over an hour from Manchester and Liverpool. There is the possibility to travel from nearest airports (Manchester and Liverpool) to 蜜桃传煤mv using an airport shuttle/taxi which we are happy to book on request.
The meeting users will be accommodated in housing provided by the University facilities in the form of our Guest Bedrooms.

We have a wide variety of state-of-the-art research facilities situated within the Department, including Ultra-Low Temperature fridges, a suite of three Isolabs, and are home to the Quantum Technology Centre.
